siskiou
Is this possible? Can I add a second needle valve somehow?
USCG CWO
Couldn't you come of the main regulator and then plug in this http://www.aquacave.com/2-outlet-co2-manifoldbr-gang-valve-by-jbj-1939.html and then go off to your two calcium reators? I think this would work. Shane
siskiou
Yes, thanks! This looks exactly like the thing I would need!
Rick
Yes, one tank could supply several, just need to split/T it off at some point before the needle valves (you need an independent valve on each reactor). The gang valve in the link above will work or just run down to the local gas and welding supply and they can get you set up.
siskiou
I'll check into that when I have to refill it next. It'll be some time before I can put together a DIY calcium reactor for my second tank anyhow. I'm liking how much easier it is to keep the ALK and calcium steady with a reactor, instead of the constant dosing. I have a little ozone reactor that may be just the thing to convert. Or an extra RO canister. Or maybe even a small cheapo ebay job, since the tank it's for is only 60G.
