Cannedmulder
I was attaching mushrooms to rubble. "Pinhead" decided he didn't want that to happen. You can see the shroom on his back too.

CA2OR
so maxima's are good in the sand?
Rick
so maxima's are good in the sand? I don't think so. I believe they are a rock boring clam and are better off on the rocks if you can keep them there. (The Crocea I had kept walking off the rocks)

COReefer
ugh....I so want an elegance. Cant fit it though I am pretty sure. yeah and they have a nasty sting so you have to have alot of room.
finch6013
so maxima's are good in the sand? Maxima's are best in rocks. I just had that in the sand when I first brought it home. It came from the sand with weak light so I didn't want to fry it right way. I have since moved it to the rocks. It keeps moving around. CA2OR
I see. OK because mine is on very top of my rocks and cant really move because it is in a bowl of sorts.
finch6013
I kinda did that with mine but it still moves.
CA2OR
Is it ok to have zoa's or palys right next to it? They are dang near touching it. I am afraid that they will grow onto shell.
Rick
I would guess that they can be next to it with growing onto the shell being the worst that could happen. (Frank has a big one with xenia growing on it)
COReefer
it won't hurt them if they have palys growing on the shell. If need be, you can cut them off of it.
