siskiou
Is there anyone around who knows their way around elliptical cross trainers? We just got this older Proform 900 used and after a week, the resistance got stuck at the highest level. I've taken the machine apart, and tracked down the problem, but don't know if and how it could be repaired. Seems to have to do with the brakes. The resistance motor works fine, but the movable part at the end of the metal wire is no longer moving with the wire being loosened. I'd appreciate any hints how I could get this repaired, as we can't afford buying another one, or paying for an expensive repair. Or if anyone has an old Proform 900 cross trainer where the flywheel with the brakes is still working...
