Jay Tyree Green Toadstool Not sure the name of this one. I got it from Izzypop (Shawn I think) Please help me identify it if you can as I will be taking some frags soon and need to know what it is. Slow growing for about 4 months but when it got a foot hold it exploded into what you see here. Started from about 1/2 inch piece. Yep...I had the Pacman boxing on the tv in the background on this one. Spoiled the picture DOH! These are some Tonga Mushrooms I got from Woody back in about 2003. 2 of them came on the stock of my first frogspawn. Woody had that coral in his little personal tank near the cash register and I had to give him 45 bucks for it as he did not want to sell it. I brought those corals back to Moses Lake with me on the train. That was when Seahorse was in his Garage. Remember those days? I have one of those media streamers that is wireless and can run files from my pc in the other room. Pac is a awesome fighter. I like UFC also. Im sure we could make some kind of trade. I only want to take 3 frags from it. 2 to trade and 1 to mount near the existing coral. It does have nice green glowing tips. Its a really fast growing cap and grows out and up if you know what I meen. Here is a picture of another I started not long ago. See how it grows those pillars Kinda cool huh. Ive got a piece about as big as your hand that I was thinking about putting up in the classified section. I know they are not really a rare coral but I need to get new VHO bulbs. I made a new holder for my refugium lights and thought I would share with everyone. This puts 2 bulbs right down next to the water where the cheato can really get the light to grow. I got this white cutting board stuff from that big plastic supply place where you can go through all their scrap and buy stuff cheap. He was kept in the sump because he was being bullied by his regal tangs and other yellow tang. Notice the damage to the eye and how washed out his color is. Being in the sump for a long while wa probably why his color is so pale. I am hopeing with a less stressful enviroment and vitamins he will color up and be happy in his new home. All the fish in my tank are buddies right now so its a harmonious happy place and I have caught the new tang playing with my clownfish and surfing the powerhead current a few times so things are looking good sofar (fingers). I am thinking that one of the green stars took his leg. I keep them fed but it doesnt seem to matter as the green stars always act like they havent eaten in a month.
