We have a VERY old computer we are donating to a womenn's shelter. It has windows 95 installed, but we lost the product key code. Anyone know of a code we can use to get it to finish installing?

Does it load to windows? If so do this:

From your Start Menu, choose Run, then type REGEDIT in the box and
click OK.

For Windows 95, navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion and look for an entry in the right pane called "ProductId"

Otherwise i have about 8 or 10 different disks with product keys i can give you. I'll have to find them though, they are packed since i just moved.

My wife volunteers there once a week. They accept donations of old cell phones too. So if anyone wants to get rid of one, let me know please

If the PC is running and has access to the net, go to http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder.shtml and the program will give you the product key of the disc that was used for the Windows installation.

I have like 5 cell phones i need to donate to a school or something. Maybe i'll bring them to the next meeting I attend for you.
