Not sure if I should be posting here or in "Member/Vendor Feedback" ... but since I'm asking and not giving feedback, I'll post here.
I've been looking around for an affordable RO/DI unit, and came across this one. It claims 100 gpd for only $169. I can't find a name-brand for it ... thinking it's someone selling their hobby. Does anyone have any experience/opinions?

Air, Water, Ice (http://www.airwaterice.com/) is a club sponsor and sells very nice RO/DI units. I have a Typhoon 5-stage and really like it.

If you get a used one, replace ALL the cartridges. I recommend just buying a new one. I know thats not the green thing to do, but it saves the green ($).
Did you notice the error?
In the second line... when optimum conditions are met. (60-70 psi, 76° F, TDS >200)
TDS GREATER than 200 seems less than optimal conditions. To be correct it should be TDS LESS than 200, or TDS < 200.
he he he.

There's probably tons of info on him at reefcentral. I think he's pretty big over there. I was looking at the same unit too.

Andy,
I saw that one on their site, it looks nice. Is it rated for 200 GPD? Or did I read that wrong?
I really like their stuff, if I was going to buy another one I would probably buy it form them.

Dunno about the stuff at their site, you should probably check with them to be sure -- I just bought the Typhoon with the 75gpd membranes (I read somewhere that they do a bit better job).
