So you may have heard that I sold my 90 gallon tank, and purchased a 72 gallon bowfront.

Recently, Carmen, my wife, decided that she wanted a stand to put her tank, (26 gallon bowfront) on. She started looking for one in ernest late last week.

She couldn't find a stand that fit her Marineland tank, but she did find an All-Glass 28 Bowfront, and stand. She bought it.

So now we have twins.

They both will be undergoing some major changes, and updates will be posted as they occur. Here are current pictures.

(Don't worry dsoz the Xenia made the transfer just fine.)

I got a new light and built a calfo manifold. All the nasty white pipes will be painted black. The pump will be moved when a suitable home for it can be found.

So are you planning on plumbing them together or separate units?

No they are not "conjoined" twins. One is upstairs and one is downstairs.

Austin Powers. I believe that specific quote is from the third movie.

Nice looking tanks! We will have to meet up again soon.

I figured out how to get the pump out of the tank, and into a sump. Now just have two work out the logistics of having to return pumps. One, the big one, before the refugium and one after, the smaller one.

I have two pumps out of my sump. I just have two return lines, each entering the tank at a different location.

One of these days I should invest in one really good pump, and use a Calfo manifold or a SCWID to direct the flow. Then I can get rid of all the ugly powerheads in the tank.

SCWID?

My sump wont be as large as yours, (at least how I remember yours). Probably a 10 draining into a 20 L, with the 20 being a refugium. With the large pump in the 10 and the smaller one in the 20.
