I'm looking for a couple pieces of dry rock to put in my tank. Anybody have any ? Portland area.

They won't be dry when you put them in the tank. (laugh)

Actually what kind of rock are you looking for?

Mainly I want to get it for price . I am going to let it seed in the back of my display tank and evenually use it for my LR in my frag tank.

theres LR on sale in classifieds for $2 a pound. cant beat that.

Yah, I would take advantage of the live rock. If you do that then you dont have to worry about any weird swings in your tank and its pretty close to the same price. I dont think you would have any problems if you have enough volume and live rock already, but adding more live rock for that price just makes good sense.

One problem With getting lr from craigslist and alot of other people is that they are usaully taking there tank down and maintance for the last 3 months is disapeared (aka slime algae , hair algae)
I don't want to put the problems in my display while i'm slowly putting my frag tank together.

I would look into getting whatever the Twogirls has left.
Their ad is in the classified section, and was a little over $2/lb for some good looking base pieces.
