I know Rich uses it in his small tank and has like the results...Maybe some other people can chime in and let me know what their expeirences have been with this product....I am considering buying some, but want a little more info. before I pull the trigger.

You'll find a lot more info on RC about Prodobio. Check out this HUGE thread (http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=700454&perpage=25&pagenumber=1)

I only know of 1 other person locally using it and he is in the process of a house/tank move...

Yeah, I PM'd him and he said that he does not attribute most of his success with prodibio, but with it working in conjunction with everything else including his DSB...So i am still torn on if I should get some or not.

THat reefcentral thread is pretty amazing but it seems pretty complex to me. Too much stuff to dose and too expensive to keep buying.

I cannot claim that my success is also just from Prodobio. I'm using it in conjuction with Zeovit additives, weekly water changes, and very close monitoring of parameters. But I will say this much for it, it works very well for reducing the nitrates/phosates in your tank which will result in a lost of algae. Prodobio itself is not that expensive and in a small tank will last for a while and you only dose 1 a week with some and the every 2 weeks with others.
