cup coral

I've got a rock of zoas(shocking, I know). over the past couple of weeks, I've noticed some cup corals pop up in the center of the colony. Does anybody know how to get rid of the cup coral?

If your talking like a pagoda cup coral(hard coral) ethier brush the flesh off with stiff tooth brush or get some sharp small wire cutters a shave it off but if its a hard coral u can transplant to another location after cutting and add to your collection who knows may turn into a sweet piece.

Heres a picture of the rock in question.... the cup coral look kind of like aptasia, but they are definately not.
