UFC 60

Did anybody else watch UFC 60 last night?

No I could not afford to pay for this one! Since they are doing them every month now i'll be missing some of them, (WHICH SUCKS!!!!!!!).

Read the recap though sounds like a few good fights and a few not so good fights.

If they went back to every 2-3 months, I think they could have better fight cards from top to bottom.

Maybe I'll get to see the next one..........at least NASCAR is free so I'll watch that today.

Some friends and I are going to get UFC 61 in july if you want to come up. should be some really good fights: Shamrock v Ortiz, Silva v Arlovski are the good ones.

Royce Gracie really got owned by Matt Hughes, which wasn't totally suprising.

Would really like to but thats a long drive to make after watching some fights on party night.

I"m sure Gracie is still a very effective fighter, but todays fighters are far more well rounded then the ones he was fighting back in the day. I don't think he's ever been up against someone who can play on the same level as him.

i thought some fights were good. diego's fight was kinda weak until the last two minutes. i thought that it was great when hughes had gracie in the armbar and his face had the expression of "when your done let me know" but then shortly after hughes was pounding gracies head in the ground.
