Just wondering if someone could tell me if this guy is good or bad for the tank? He has been banished to the fuge but if he is ok ill put him back in the main tank.

looks like either an off colored Mithrax or a small "gorilla" crab, if its a mithrax, it could be ok

I would definately get it away from your coral if you didn't buy it just my opinion, it looks like one of those rock crabs, if so it is hella bad

What exactly does hella bad mean? What do these bad crabs do exactly?

He is safely in the fuge but it kind of freaked me out when i saw it last night. I was just cruising for pods and he was firmly latched on to a Stylo.

they tend to strip polyps off the coral, so really bad so hella bad would be an adjective for very bad

Since you caught it doing this at night is another bad sign in my opinion.

Yah bad news. Here is what mine did, ripped out all the polyps and started eating the flesh
