I dont know, I see it more as the definition of Ghetto... Rich's (h20Cooled) skimmer is more the definition of DIY IMO.

LOL, that is pretty cool, it definantly a cheap way of building a skimmer because the acrylic reaction chamber is one of the most expensive parts of the skimmer. I'm not sure I would trust the connection between the bottle and the neck not to leak and it also looks hard to clean...
