Hi folks

Our landlord decide that we have to move out, due to saltwater damage all the metal, this is kind of good for me since I want to spend more time with my daughter.

Everything will need to go and everything is for sale except our 1000 gallons tank, all lives stocks must go first and then all the tanks

Same here, I thought it was an AWESOME shop, I wish I was closer to go there more often...He hosted one of the best BBQ's at his shop for one of the meetings, that was my first expereince, I remember winning a frag of Mohawk Zoas...Good Times

I want everyone to know that I still gonna stay with the forum.

That is great news! Someone with your experience and knowledge is so important to a hobby like this, glad you will be around still.

That was going to be my next question, I never got to see the 1000 system, I would push a portland trip to the top of my list of things to do just to see it.

Noooooooo! Tim, when people admire my tank I say it's thanks to you! I haven't been by much, no longer hang out on that side of town but I will be there tommorow or Saturday. I will also try to grab my friend Tom's credit card... Ths time I'll ship :-)
I am so very sorry to see you close. You were the one who guided me from one dead fish in a biocube to a thriving 60 gallon reef that stops people in their tracks.

See you soon, make me some awesome Deals so I can get as much of your beautiful stuff as I can before it is gone. I have a list :-)

Again, a sincere thanks for all you have done for me. Please thank Lilly for me also, and my sincere congratulations to you both.

Wow! Made it out to Tim's today and I must say, in 13 years of reefing, I have NEVER seen the colors Tim has gotten on some of those acros, montis, etc in his tank. They are absolutely stunning! I'm glad that I was able to get a few frags of them and at a great price. Can't wait to come see your tank at your restaurant.

Do you have any secrets you could share on anything special you dose or do on that display tank to get the color out of these corals? I mean besides the shear volume of water and 400 watt lamps. I know you mentioned an elevated magnesium level but, how high do you run the magnesium?

Again, great shop and great guy, glad to meet you and good luck in all your future endeavors.

Thanks for the kind words, I usually keep fish with any corals since their waste is the best food source for corals, my mag, cal, and alk can be low or high depend how I want it, but make sure they does not swing at the same time I figure out how many different species of acropora I have in my tank depend on it size, for example in a 55 gallons I would keep anywhere from 5 to 10 different species, this way all of them will have good amount of nutrient, mag, cal and etc to share. I also now what lighting is best for my acros and knowing where to place them, for example I can place table acros such as Milles anywhere I want In the tank and torts(stags) no higher then mid tank.

this saddens me to no end. Tim sold me my first tank which i then had to move to northern california. He and Lilly were very supportive and helpful . I just recently got my tank set back up and cycled ready for fish. Hopped on here to see what was going on since i have not been able to get a hold of anyone at the shop in hopes of getting some things shipped( i always offer them my business before looking anywhere else). If anyone knows ricky personally would be great to hear from him as well.
