Does anyone use this stuff? I'm a little skeptical of "product releases only as needed" but I keep running into this stuff ever since I started. Thoughts? Opinions? Snake oil/block?

If you use reef salt I'm not sure you need that? Others should weigh in on their opinion though. Most reef salts have trace elements included and ph of reef salt is almost always 8.3 right after mixing..

LOL its the biggest joke in the reefing hobby. I used one or two once. It does nothing except dissolve too fast!

Don't waste you cash!

Never used it but just like Beth said it's a waste of money. I'm guessing that you got it from a local shop in town. There's really only one shop that suggests to use that product from my understanding.

Snake oil. I tried them as well and they dissolve in a very short amount of time, leaving a powdery clump of goo.

i have used them and they lasted three to four days, these were the small ones and used three at a time. never tracked the perameters closely though. i know use dkh buffer and such. truely undecided weather they did anything.

I just dont think it is possible for them to dissolve the nutrients that are depleted when it is one homogeneous mixture...It just dissolves...the only way I think I would consider using them is in a neglected heavily stocked tank...and you dont really see too many of those...

Truly not worth buying. There are better ways to supplement calcium. In sump with high flow dissolved immediatly and did nothing.
