I believe it is some kind of snaill, about an inch long i found snooping around my xenia's. Not really sure what it is / or safe... thanks.

I'm not entirely sure what it is... but whenever in doubt, it's best just to take it out. Hopefully someone else will be able to identify it for you.

Looks like a stomatella to me. They breed like crazy in most peoples tanks. They are okay. Later Ryan

Yup, looks like a stomatella to me too. It moves much faster than it looks like it should be able to, right?

Definitely stomatella!

I love these little snails! The breed in the tank, and keep the rock nice and clean.

Yeah this little bugger took off like a bat outa hell when he noticed that i saw him, i didn't think snails could move like that but i guess i was wrong.

I also had a question on another type of snail that i saw this afternoon ill have to wait till he comes back out again to grab a pic, he looked pretty cool. Is it common to have these different types of snails populating, even though i have only introduced turbo snails?
