Chalice Growth

I won this chalice at the meeting at beth and kims house. I took the first picture on 1/18/11 and the second was taken today 2/16/11.
The hole was about the size of a dime. This seems like very very fast growth and a first for my tank. Fluke or just a fast grower?

It's a Hollywood stunner . They seem to grow fast with the right water quallity .

Thats pretty much the opposite of my Chailce experience. I got a 2 eye frag the size of a dime 2 YEARS ago (purple with green eyes) and now its 3 eyes but pretty much the same size. Looks like you are doin things right!

Great! Growth! The Hollywood stunner does grow fast compared to our other chalices. I would say it is one of t he fastest growing chalices in the tank. Be careful with it. It has pretty big sweepers and can live up to it's name against other corals.

ya its a very fast grower, i had mine that went from 3" size to 15" across in a year!

I agree with the above posts, this chalice is a very fast grower. Once mine got to about 3" across i'd say it was growing 2-3 eyes a week!
