Eugene to Woodburn, then down to Coral Reef and Garretts place. Anyone want to ride along Thursday or Friday night?

I'm in! Either night works for me. I've still not been to Garretts so this sounds way cool. PM me when with the time and place.

Sorry, I just remembered that I'm on call this week and can't leave town. Maybe next time.

I don't think I'm contagious Jon ;) and that tattoo on your butt is far more permanent...(laugh)(laugh)

Sheeesh! I tried to make the last one that was moved from Grassi's to your place. I even planned an early day. Sunshine, motorcycle, picked up Mark Birkett with his bike and rode to Rose City to say hi to Nick and wait for the 12:00 meeting just around the way at your place. Go to start the Harley ( not a kicker ) and nada. I even pushed it down hill at Nick's trying to compression start it...nada, well a flat spot on my tire after trying to get a 103 inch injected, 12.5 to 1 comp ratio'ed V twin to fire. Mark stuck with me the whole time! he even helped push the 800lb full dresser up the hill on the other side of the tunnel area and waited with me till the flat bed showed up. I would have loved to make it! That was the day I became scared of tow drivers. We hit I-5 south headed for Eugene and the 104 lb chain smoker ask's me if I have ever " hitch hiked". I tell him " all the time, especially near the river when i am fishing/driftboating" . He then says, in a calm somewhat firm voice " I have hitchhiked across U.S.A. 3 times, it's much easier to get a ride when you are bi-sexual". .........It was the quietest, longest and scariest ride from Portland I have ever had. I would have much rather been at you place !!

rofl I heard you and Mark had planned to come but had motorcycle trouble. Mark's a good guy! I haven't seen him much on here lately though. You left out the best part though.. I'm not bisexual either so I will just hold on to my triple A membership card for now ;)

(laugh) Gotta run Jon, I see a tree I need to hug!
John you crack me up. I have many tow truck driver stories. Once they get your rig on the truck they own you. My brother and I rode one hour down gravel roads (the tune of Deliverance kept coming to mind) then another 2 hours to his junk yard where he offered to let us camp out in the yard for the night! Needless to say we declined.
