Anyone have any ideas on this one? It has the color of an Oregon Tort but Purple polyps??

Maybe its the picture but ......... it looks too green to have OR/CA tort lineage but I have seen OR torts with dark polyps before.

I would throw that stick away if I were you. Feel free to thow it this way towards my tanks though if you do...

Its probably the pic there is no green per se, its a turquoise for sure and I have 2 different Oregon torts that resemble the same color, its the polyps that are throwing me, I’ve not seen the OT with Purple polyps and these are PURPLE, also it has the body smooth like the Purple Monster (Some type of Loripes maybe?)

I dont know scientific names just those catchy marketing names.

Get ahold of Travis at Upscales.
If I remember right his OT had dark polyps on it. If they were purple or blue I do not know.

My OR Tort has the same polyps. there a deep purple. almost blue.

It looks like Oregon Tort man. I have seen the polyp color morph to purple or brown depending on lighting and parameters. The true test will be if it morphs to look like your other Oregon Tort in your system.

My oregon tort has blue polyps just like the body, and i have seen oregon tort w/ purple polyps too.
