Can someone please advise on this type of equipment. H20cooled said there might be issues, anyone out there have any opinions...good or bad?

Also, right now I'm using a Whisper30 for mechanical filtration (it came with the tank). Does anyone know if the charcoal in the Biobags that are sold for this unit leach phosphates?

If that's true, I'm even considering taking out this piece of equipment. I've read that my protein skimmer (an AquaC remora) would be good enough.

Any comments are welcome!

Thanks!

Greefer,
The problems people have had was with SPS corals, your your softies you should have any issues with it.

The only mechanical filter I use is active carbon and that is just for water polishing. A good skimmer, live rock, and strong water movement is everything you really need.
