bulb suggestions???

hi,
Well, I am overdue to replace my bulbs and was thinking of switching to 20k. My current setup is 2x250watt single end 14k hamilton metal halide with no actinc supplement. I have been happy with these bulbs, but would like a little more blue. Any suggestions on a brand of bulb? I would like a nice balanced color but obviously (20k) also want a decent amount of blue.

What kind of ballast are you using? Are you looking for more PAR or just a bluer look?

look into Radiums...I like mine but they are 400w

it is a ballast from aquariumlights.com . I believe it is magnetic and not electronic. As for par rating, I am not that concerned. As far as I know, the bluer you go the lower par you get right? I get great growth out of my 14k hammies.

I have been pretty happy with my 400W 20k xm bulbs.

I love my 14k hammies too, perfect mix of color IMO. You could try the 15k XMs, and if you have the $ the radiums get great ratings.
