Regarding http://whyfiles.org/245coral_reef/index.php?g=4.txt
I had read that about some Fiji Rock actually being closer to Aragocrete.
Here's a quote from "The Reef Aquarium - Volume Three" by Sprung and Delbeek, Pages 68 and 69.
"Aquacultured live rock is becoming more common in the trade and is gaining favor with environmentally conscious aquarists. In some cases, calcareous rock from terrestrial sources is used (e.g. Florida aquacultured rock) and in others live rocks are made from mixes containing calcareous rubble and concrete (e.g. Fiji, Hawaii). The reason for this is that local government regulations often require that the aquacultured live rock not resemble local live rock to dissuade the poaching of illegal local sources."
