I am curious how can I slow the growth of some of my zoa's? I have a few sets that are growing a bit too fast. One particular one started as 5 polyps and has grown to 27 in 1 month. I do not want to slow all of them....just 2 particular ones.....yes they are all growing like this and no I don't want to slow all of them.

Input?

No problem, here is how you slow them down: you put them in my tank.

I would go about it the same way i would try to stop a person from growing.

Seriously though, you can't just say i want that to grow fast and that to grow slow. Thats not how nature works.

kalk, joes juice or frag the ones that grow too fast? But you never know...that might cause them to spread faster lol.

If your still not using DI or RO/DI water that should help. They seem to like the "dirty" water over the purified water. I know mine stoped growing when I replaced all my filter carterages on my purifier.

I've discovered that when you drag an xacto knife across the body, it tends to reduce the growth for a short time-Maybe sticking them with a toothpick or some type of pick like the dentist use would also work.

Just be careful of the toxins-they sort can ruin your day if you get them into a open cut or your eyes/mouth etc.

Or you can make frags and trade them for store credit-

Personally I like the torture idea.
