melanarus wrasse trouble

hey guys, ive got a problem, my melanarus wrasse is swimming around with his mouth hung open, even when he goes to pick up food off the sandbed or on the rocks, it never closes, is this normal or is something seriously wrong with my fish?

ill try an get pics if needed but there's really no other way to describe it except that he's swimming with his mouth wide open.

often times mine will stretch it like that for a long period of time but it's really only like 30 seconds tops. that could be a problem. I wouldn't even know what to do if that happened

well ill be dipped, after i got over freaking out and calming the gf down, she loves the fish, your right, he's closed his mouth lol sorry about that guys

Mine has been like this for a couple of days now! He is fat and has been in my tank for over 6 months, but just recently he started swimming around with his mouth open wide...huh I wonder what this means?
