i have a 50 gal ro unit brand new it has been running for 32 hrs and still has not filled my 50 gal drum yet is this normal

check the pressure going into the unit.

the pressure is 70 psi

I would say that is not normal. My 100gpd unit fills my 30g tub up in about four or five hours. I would contact whomever you bought the unit from and see what they have to say.

i did they said ther is a break in time and the 50 gal is over a24 hr time frame

water temp is also a factor. If water is say about 60 degrees, it will produce less

you said in your post you used it for 36. So call them back and demand and answer.

i have a nice water pressure pump i could sell you if you need one
It would get you to 80psi

Speaking of RO units what should the PSI be at?
I use mine at 45ish, what is the Ideal PSI?
