The 2009 Annual PNWMAS BBQ will be at Blue Lake Park, located near the Columbia River in Portland. Saturday, August 15th.

Picnic Area 13a has been reserved all day, from 8AM to closing time at Dusk.

We will probably eat around Noon. More on this later!

Blue lake is just fine.... parks a park and other than the kids pooping in the lake its nice and shaded! all try to be there bad mood and all! ;-}

Frag swaps are usually going on at most if not all of our PNWMAS Meetings and Meet and Greets! It's always best to organize some of the trades in the forum thread.

It looks like a awesome event. Soccer started a little earlier than planned this year. I am still coaching soccer.
Stace and I will not be able to make it. I hope you keep me in line for another event.

I just got internet service back after being without it over a week. I was unable to send the Evites from the Sherwood Library for some reason last week. I have to use dialup until something better becomes available.

Yes, it will be potluck, although the club will provide a few things like burgers, hot dogs and plates.

Bring along some of your favorite foods, whether it be a main dish, side dish, or dessert. I always say, if you bring enough for you and your family, plus a little extra to share, there will be more than enough for everyone!:D

I'll try to talk my wife and/or daughter into making Deviled Eggs. They are always a big hit at picnics.

I'd say around 10 AM. No itinerary is set for the day except lunch around noon!
A couple of 12 packs of sodas would be good.:D Potato salad, cookies, or pie is another idea. One time someone brought KFC! Bring whatever you like!

We went out to Blue lake but we had Pickle with us and they wouldn't let us into the park. I have been to Blue lake park before but it has been a long time and I totally spaced their no dog policy.

When I was leaving thru the 100's of cars..I thought ..Which truck could be Ryans (scratch)

I was meeting him there as well for my bulb and he said he was picking up a huge tank for water storage. So when I parked this guy with a truck next to me had this big 300gl thing in the back and I said to my wife "I bet that's that Ryan guy I need to find". I was late getting there and met a few new reefers.

Thanks all that put on the BBQ. The food was great and it was nice seeing a couple people I havent seen in awhile. It was a great excuse also to go pickup my new water tank!
