dual 250w halide ballast

i am looking into replacing my Probe start: 250w ANSI: M58 PFO dual halide ballast and getting a dual 250w ELECTRONIC BALLAST.
how many people use the electronic ballasts? and are they the best one's
on the market?
i want to upgrade my current ballast so i can run 250w radiums with no problems.
