Our May Meeting will be held at Aquaticus Saltwater Aquariums in Beaverton. Aquaticus
is one of our newer sponsors. This will be an excellent opportunity to visit a new sponsor
if you have not already done so. Stop on by on May 18th at 2:00pm and see what Aquaticus is all
about.
We will be having a discussion / workshop on the culturing of phytoplankton and rotifers. We have
several memebers that are successfully culturing their own food. We will have handouts available and
show you how easy it is to set up your own facilities.
Also on the agenda is our upcoming elections. We will be discussing the need for volunteers to
uphold the Officer and Board of Director Postitions in the coming months. Each position will be
thoroughly described. If this club is going to grow and prosper, we will need volunteers. June will be
our election month. Bob Fenner will be flying up to Portland to give us lectures on Beginning Reefkeeping
(for our newcomers) and on Tank Compatibility / Mixing Reef Livestock.
We will also be discussing the upcoming Coral Farmers Market, and August BBQ. Tanks for Teachers is
